I keep meaning to play more games in Japanese for the reading practice. But it's hard with older games that don't have message logs, and looking up words without voice acting is really tedious.
And formality levels still break me a bit.

Basically the revenue from the mobile side went down, not up. And they shuttered a bunch of terrible mobile games recently too.
FF16 is doing about as expected. It didn't meet the high-end of expectations, and certain press have run that as not meeting expectations. But that's not what Kiryu said.

I mean, not really? Their own results report basically says the mobile side was weak & the "HD games" segment was strong. Income went down, but revenue went up.
Seems to me more like they just retired debt from their really bad live services they shut down.
