at Stony Brook in 1967 I was there waiting for Cream with Eric Clapton to come on. The opening act with the Vagrants with Leslie West later of Mountain. just as the concert was about to start they announced that Eric Clapton was “sick” (busted) Vanilla Fudge was the replacement. They were great.
