There are a lot of things to hate about this timeline, but I absolutely love that we’re in an era where blonde bombshells who the world trashed and wrote off as bimbos — like #JayneMansfield and #PamelaAnderson — are finally getting their due. 💪

It’s finally happened, guys … I’ve found my first DNF of the year.
(For those curious, it’s the latest mystery by a bestselling British writer. I made it 65 pages and called it quits around the time a MC described middle aged women in yoga pants looking at his “package.” 🙄) #booksky

Can’t say I disagree. But I’d argue that book-to-screen adaptations are a significant culprit. To make a living as a writer in the 21st century, your work be multimedia friendly — and that requires homogeneity. #booksky

Can’t say I disagree. But I’d argue that book-to-screen adaptations are a significant culprit. To make a living as a writer in the 21st century, your work be multimedia friendly — and that requires homogeneity. #booksky
