Yes marinate should make them more tender. I just sear them first then just few minutes on each side.

When we have steak it’s usually Striploin, medium rear for both of us. We eat more chicken

Agree you need toughness to go deep in the playoffs. We need a good mix of skill & toughness. Our skilled D are not exactly physical. Not sure if Struble or A. Xhekaj can develop in top 4. If Guhle keeps getting injured, may have to trade. I would love Nicholas Hague type. Just my opinion.

Engstrom seems to keep getting better. Sounds like his coach think so as well after his last game.

It’s probably a good problem to have. I have no idea what management will do, but Engström just turned 22, Matheson will be 32 in couple months. We are probably at least couple years away from contending. One is probably looking for 9mil, the other is looking to make NHL. I know what I would do.

Well said Jack. It puts things in perspective. Our two goalies are not as bad as they are playing right now. This may all change, starting tomorrow night, whichever goalie starts. Long season left yet, the losing will soon stop

I agree they should win if they play like they did against Boston. I’m hoping a new look PP will jump start this team. MSL will have the guys fired up for this game. Looking forward to the game

Yeah we need to score more and we were for awhile. I think we are still top 10 in scoring , but are lower for goals against. But we have a young team, 3 more rookies, couple more in their 2nd year. I guess we need little more patience. MSL will get this team rolling again.

Agree, and I think a developed Reinbacher is exactly what we need on back end. Someone else who can get the puck out of our end, especially under pressure. I find we are making too many mistakes/turnovers on the other teams forecheck.

Yes he is, he said he may not have as much speed, but will still get there and help the offense.

Excellent article Brian. I agree with your constructive format. We should have learned a lesson from Washington last year. Soft teams don’t don’t win the cup. We need to add physical players. Or call them up.

Yes that is missing this year. I’m thinking if we make the playoffs again(should) may have to recall couple from Laval. Need to be much more physical for playoff hockey this year.

Totally agree, it’s always exciting to see a young player get rewarded for playing good. A couple games in the big league will do him good.

Another great read Karine, and you are right, when we get bad calls, may as well accept it and play on. The refs are not going to admit they made a mistake.
