In the so-called “rainy”Vancouver area and I feel this way too. We have had drought, wildfires, heatdome every summer for the last, what, 5 years and it’s been terrifying. In my little town we nearly run out of water.

Exactly! It’s a style that’s warranted if one’s aim is to incite the masses to get of the couch and participate in the Glorious Revolution 🙁. It makes sense even if it is unacceptable and terrifying.

I watched his Hillsdsle College address recently. His demagoguery seemed to me to be what they find so compelling. They give his aggressive speaking style. They find it heroic and mythically inspiring. That’s what I got out of it.
