I laud your assertion that something should be done. But nothing actionable will be done to course correct until we remove money from politics, and cease political division based on theological boundaries. Guns will continue to kill innocent people, kids included, until these things happen.

Because mass shootings and gun violence are so common place and lack any real response by any organization, government or private, to prevent it from happening again. So obviously, the answer to "why isn't it getting more press coverage?" is because nobody cares.
