This average position graphic from Sofa Score sums up why it had to be Joe Ward who replaced Max Johnston.

As well as his deliveries, his presence high and wide on the right is necessarily progressive with Forsyth penned back on he other side.

Derby were much the better side in the second half, and really should have scored, but ultimately came up short.

It was another valiant defensive display from Derby, who had to rode a number of waves of Clarets pressure and threatened in patches.

On an uneventful afternoon, Swansea take all three points after scoring from one of just three shots. The hosts offered little going forward despite much possession, but were clinical, substitute Ji-Sung Eom scoring from close range.

After a low-key first-half, Eustace’s Rams came out fighting. Neat finishes from Forsyth and Yates early in the second half extend the winning run to for games.

Harness’ early strike and an Armstrong stunner saw The Rams race into the lead. Despite Bundu’s free kick and a Phillips own goal, Harness’ late second goal made it three wins in a row.

Early goals came from Forsyth and Adams set the hosts on their way. Gueye pulled one back before half-time, but Derby held on in the second half.
