Warner is in cycle. I’m legit shocked they didn’t cave before this. They are reluctant shutdown voters given their constituents.

Fifty year loans can’t be Qualified Mortgages so they will need additional risk retention and can’t be sold to the GSEs. Banks may not love them so much. Credit unions have statutory authority to write 40 year paper already but I don’t think they do.

50 year mortgages aren’t eligible to be Qualified Mortgages and would trigger risk retention. And the GSEs can’t buy them. Credit unions already have authority to make 40 year mortgages and I don’t think they do.

The Arc is going in a traffic circle on the main road between DCA and Memorial Bridge. We would be better off if it literally were an arc to take folks across the Potomac.
