Alerts & Advisories was established with intent, which is clear in the advisory definitions. The only things published there now are alerts and advisories. So, what is this "Update" actually saying? That Alerts & Advisories will no longer be used to publish alerts and advisories?

The email notification states "These announcements will only be shared through... Social media..., email, and RSS". However RSS is absent in the published update.
