Brought the soccer team to Lynchburg to play Liberty. Ended in a draw, but team showed a lot of growth over their first four games.
The stadium is nestled in the Blue Ridge and it is a stunning view. Sparky the mascot gave me a fist bump.

Had the honor of curating the exhibit on display through October at the Cardinal House. Last night was the opening. A lot of fun going through the process of poem selection, developing a theme, and making a short presentation to some of the attendees.

Rescued this handsome boy. Now he’s looking for a forever home. His name is Little Bit. Neutered male. 2 years old. Very playful and talkative. Likes to lay down beside you. If local to me, and interested, let me know.
Has all his shots and is chipped.

Took the volleyball team to UVA for preseason match. So much fun! Excellent competition. JMU lost 3-1, but all three losses were by only two points. Also, over 600 in attendance at a preseason match! Incredible!

Drove soccer team to pre-season games and ran into friends/parents of a Freshman player. Four former wrestling coaches here to see the soccer game!
Second photo is from the home season opener.
I have several long trips scheduled with the team. Very excited to follow their season.

Drove the tennis team to Rome, GA to compete in the SBC championship. They won their QF match, but fell to eventual 3x champion ODU in the SF.
Loved watching them compete.

Because my friends suggested I HAD to eat there, I went to Katz’s Deli on my last day in NYC, and ordered a Pastrami Reuben.
I had to wait over an hour to get to the counter to order the sandwich, and let me tell you: it did not disappoint! Absolutely the best pastrami reuben I’ve ever eaten.

The final pick up and drop off of the group. NYC was fun to visit, but not to drive through. Not a n a hurry to go back, but sure I’ll get assigned again next school year.

Loving my new job!
Still training in the motor coach, but should be good to go by February. Otherwise, making airport runs in cars, suvs, and vans for vips.
