Notably most of your special and super moves act as combo extenders and let you bully even bosses. But they also will stuff out your enemy’s moves so without them you have to rely solely on dodging and parrying. It’s a fun system that allows the sort of combos you don’t really see from Souls-Likes

The game has a fairly solid demo, though it lacks your more powerful burst moves. There’s some jank to parts of the combat, but for the most part it’s really fun. I particularly really enjoy the way the game handles meter use and gain. You’re very strong when you have it, but vulnerable without

The prospect of just reinventing slavery really does drag down what is ostensibly THE dream for expanding our ability to interact with computers and digital worlds

Like the big push has been to hopefully create an “AGI” that can think and reason like a person, but unless as a society we’re ready to treat it like a person then we probably shouldn’t even invent it in the first place

Not only can an LLM not do that, but the level of intelligence needed for it to work would essentially require making proper digital *people*, which immediately becomes an ethical issue when you force them to act in certain ways purely for our own pleasure.

It’s got a heavy emphasis on exploration, puzzles, and rhythm based combat.

Metro Gravity’s a super cool metroidvania that clearly takes a lot of inspiration from Gravity Rush. It’s core feature is that anytime you touch a surface that becomes the new down, as opposed to just shifting gravity whenever you want.

Super important thing for tomorrow. In DK Bananza if you use the joy cons you can beat your chest in real life to make DK to the same. It is the greatest thing ever, I may have already bruised my chest lol

Oh yeah a shadow drop would definitely be an odd choice no doubt, but releasing it now does make sense given how few launch titles there are. The only first party one that’s not just an upgrade is Mario Kart. Nintendo needs to bolster the roster some more

I mean… Mario Kart has a forever tail, and most people probably got it cheaper with their Switch 2, and DK doesn’t come out for a month. They could drop it next week and have 3 weeks between both
