had one for years & lost it, immediately ordered a replacement in the same style

I lent my then-girlfriend a windows laptop, & she signed into Edge to sync her browsing data. Microsoft then REPLACED all my accounts (Office, Teams, Windows itself, EVERYTHING) with hers.
The only way to fix this was to go into regedit and perform an esoteric rain dance of a procedure
Fuck edge.
