ohhh thank you, will def. reach out to you ...

I'll put it on my list for early next year as I am in a bit of a sprint at the moment for my next paper, so won't have too much time to do astrophotography (sadness!) but once the Xmas holidays begin I should be more free. Much appreciated!

ahhhhh sorry, I understand now!

I thought you were pulling out the end product as the fits (i.e. the 10s x 1 hour of observing) as the one fits file then using that. Makes sense that you are using the individual snaps by seestar not the end of session product. Thank you!

fantastic, thank you!

So your subs are short integration times? like seconds?

I was thinking this was like 5-6 subs of 1 hours length on SeeStar

nice!

btw - has anyone from the SeeStar community written / blogged about how to do these long integration shots? As in, you are pulling out FITS files, right and then doing stacking outside of SeeStar (I think?)

Maybe @mpoessel.de might know of a resource as well?

it smells shady AF and very minimal downstream impact.

It looks like they are just finding a loophole to avoid paying taxes.

They're such cute little critters and their antics are great!

That's hilarious that they sent a small army just for one little racoon! hahaha

Me and a random dog lady standing nearby who overheard this just looked at each other and smirked with a ‘the kid gets it’ look …..

The bush turkeys are now old enough to know that the dogs don’t really care for them. They’re about as big as Max is.

Honestly — It’s like Noah’s Ark around here with all the animals.

What is “measured in degrees” in this ~2300-year-old cuneiform tablet which gives records of the moon’s velocity for 248 days?

It’s the moon’s position from one night to the next, at the same time, showing distance moved across the sky. This tablet uses a zigzag function to model lunar velocity

I use this and its really good. This is the Australian brand but they have them everywhere.

www.woolworths.com.au/shop/product...

Its nutrition is great (high protein, low fat, low carbs), and all you have to do is add boiling water and let it sit for about 7-8 mins. Then flavour how you like it.
