Our power is out and a neighbor down the road has solar panels: and I’m jealous, looking up cost because even though it rained all day he’s got power (Christmas light are on even). Meanwhile I have decorative votives

Kitchen smells great! Frost coming so I harvested the lemongrass. Also the chilies and basil. Pesto and Sambal oleo up next!

It’s the local hot air balloon festival and I can always see them from my house, but we are usually upwind, so they don’t come this way. A few got close enough for us to hear the propane flame. One dog noticed and stood his ground, then ran away. The other dog still doesn’t know what’s happening.
