It depends. There are two separate hobbies: a) reading books and b) collecting books. You can pursue hobby b) without a) but not visa versa.

Nice work and great photos. Have you tried using portrait mode on the iPhone for insect photos? It will blur the background for you. I think it limits you to 3x magnification however.
