Catching up on Absolute Wonder Woman, Batman, and Superman and I'm enjoying this universe more than I expected. Just going by the art I thought these comics would be mostly edgy, dark takes on these characters. I mean they are dark but I'm glad they aren't pizza cutters, all edge and no point

I wasn't overly excited for 2XKO but I have to admit that launching with just 10 characters is a little disappointing for me. Especially for a 2v2 fighting game where I'm seeing 40% of the playable characters in any match. And all the picks for the launch roster seem too normal for LoL

I've now read the first two volumes (issues 1-12) of "Radiant Black" and I'm really enjoying this series. What initially drew me in was the artwork by Marcelo Costa and the Power Rangers/Super Sentai inspired costumes. And Kyle Higgins's writing has kept me invested in the characters & story so far

I had a great time with this comic. It's not perfect, but the stuff this story does right outweighs any criticisms I have. I'm glad I took the time to read it

Very interesting development I wasn't entirely sure I'd see. I had a feeling there might be some viltrumites who would have a change of heart and grow to love earth like Nolan did, just didn't expect it from this specific character for some reason

Now on issue 87 and I'm really enjoying the story so far. It's gone in a direction I wasn't expecting at all and it's led to a lot of interesting conflicts and debates which I've really liked about Invincible as a whole. Can't wait to see how all this plays out

Quite possibly the dumbest thing Cecil has done and I'm not surprised at how quickly this blew up in his face. Up to now I've understood Cecil's actions and how he's willing to do basically anything to ensure the safety of the world, but this is going too far and makes Cecil look idiotic

Maybe my least favorite moment from Mark in the show and comic. I get why he's worried about Eve but dude, you're the strongest person on the planet and you're just gonna let a small army of alternate universe versions of yourself destroy the world and kill millions? Fucking do something, man...

Getting closer to the "Invincible War." I love all these silly alt-universe Marks. Freddie Mercury Mark and Mohawk Mark might be my favorites

Boy do I hate comic crossovers that require you to read an entirely separate comic you've never heard of and don't care about. I actually got invested in the story of this Wolf-Man character so imagine my disappointment when the following issue had nothing to do with what was set up here

I do love this page. Great build up to this moment and the colors & shading are so well done. As much as I love the show and how it looks I really do wish they would/could experiment more with dramatic lighting and shadows like this

Not a fan of this moment either. I'm not big on the MarkxEve romance in the show, but I especially don't like how much it's telegraphed in the comic with practically every fucking character assuming they're dating, insisting they're dating or claiming that they should be dating. I fucking get it

Worst issue by far. I hate recap comics that stop the story to have characters awkwardly reiterate plot details and information they've already discussed or should already know. And why recap now? Who the fuck is starting Invincible at issue 42??

So Damien Darkblood is just pointless in the comics? At least in the show we got to see him investigating and his involvement gets Cecil and Debby to have doubts about Nolan. Here Damien shows up like 6 issues after Nolan outs himself and everyone already figured out he killed the Guardians

Finally reading Invincible and this is my favorite joke so far. I like how it was adapted in season 2 but I love the simplicity of it here

I forgot the Guardians of the Galaxy game includes some fun flavor text for the costumes. This bit for Rocket's movie outfit is cute and a fun way to frame this specific costume
