I’m a squire in both Bel and Amtgard now!

Although my squireship in Bel has been a much different experience, since I chose to actively squire under my realm versus a specific knight.

Oh but the tiny mushroom is so cute!!!!

(I feel this I can only crochet one thing. No other art, just crochet this one belt and this one blanket, nothing else)

I know in other places boffer just denotes the type of weaponry used, but I feel like here in America we kind of break down the different types of larps based on level of immersion. So Amtgard/Belegarth/Dagorhir are just labeled as boffer combat larps

Amtgard is one of the larps I mentioned! It’s the one that ends up having issues because of the award system.
The other I do is Belegarth. Both are considered “boffer” since they’re more focused on the fighting aspects than the immersion or roleplay aspects.
But I love taking about both of them!

So I do two boffer style larps. I see wisps of elitism in one of the two, but both are extremely welcoming of new individuals. The elitism in the second larp is more so when it comes to awards and award giving. We have a broken awards standardization that causes a lot of those issues imo.

I have 1.5 at this point.
(The .5 is because I keep trying to make a new one but there’s too many people who do both my larps,who know me, and they keep calling me by my mushroom persona 😅😅)
