Now I've just made myself sad.
It is very noticeable how Legion era palettes seemed a bit more realistic, the current look is a lot flatter, but TBH with in-engine lightning it looks good.

I remembered I had already recolored Eagletalon for Daenil, and pretty much it was the same palette of the new HE recolor. Just matched the gems and ta-da!
Man, now I really want new Eagletalon recolors.

Oh for WoW human proportions he's definitely on the twunk category IMO. (Kinda crazy how much they chiseled that chest rawr)

The Dark iron Dye is pretty much spot on for the Bel'ameth metal trimmings.

Surprisingly I feel none of the "wood" dyes fit the Bel'ameth aesthetic, needing to go a bit lighter or darker heh. Considering the NE items themselves have varying wood shades, it's less of an issue.

It really is what I consider simply a wrong aesthetic choice. By swapping *one* color of a cemented palette, you are making it hell for players to get any aesthetic consistency. All because they want to REALLY SHOW Blood Elves moved away from fel.

Kinda wild how TWW and MN finally gave us VE themed items and then BAM, their palette gets revamped. These would have been all so cool on NPC's

Still considering things before going for a full redesign, but I like where I am going with the shoulders. Might try segmentation on the greaves and gauntlets, but I think I need to lock in the mog first.

TBH this is the sort of palette I'd like to see more on SC elves, lighter blues and browns so they pop a bit more from VE colors, and an overall more utilitarian vibe would fit.
(Or fuck it we ball and just go for light blue and golden)
