I understand why people don’t follow politics. They focus on the here and now and aren’t angry all the time. They make decisions based on their own reality. Life is challenging enough without adding the drama of political games, the corruption, the lies and the betrayals. Ignorance is bliss.

Trump and his Republican lapdogs are sabotaging themselves, daily if not hourly. Let’s see what the Democrats will do with this and the momentum they gained after last Tuesday’s election. They need to be loud and repetitious, especially about healthcare and the other disastrous items in their BBB.

I live in a red town in a red state. I look forward to going to the small grocery store because of 1 employee. We briefly talk politics and greet each other with “Hello, Mr. Antifa” and “How are you, Ms. Antifa.” Support can be found in the strangest places.😊😊

Please, if you are able, donate to food banks and soup kitchens. If you are unable to assist financially, soup kitchens are always looking for volunteers to cook and serve. It’s a great way to help and interact with some of the best people in your communities.

I noticed little Mike and John Thune are becoming angry. Angry that Democrats won’t give in to their demands of compliance with what Trump wants. They know they could reopen the government but refuse to. Angry that they are being held accountable for failing. They failed, except to appease Trump

A friend and I discussed the educated professionals we now know quietly support Trump. They know history, they see what’s unfolding yet they go along. Why? Racism. They watched what they said because it wasn’t “politically correct.” Now they are untethered and their true feelings are coming out😢

Fake Representative Dusty Johnson can’t do his job in Congress. He’s a worthless coward that now wants to be the Governor of SD. I hope the people of SD see his failures to protect and represent them in DC and reject him for Governor.

I believe Kamala Harris would be a great President, as did millions of other voters. Everything she said Trump would do if reelected, he’s done or is doing. Democrats should start campaigning for her NOW for 2028. They have EVERYTHING they need to get her elected. Get and keep her name out there.

On my local news this morning was Sen. Rounds- SD. He thinks it’s fine for us to buy minimal amounts of beef from Argentina.
South Dakota. Cow country. Minimal amounts of foreign beef would be ok. He was assured it would be a minimal amount. Assured by the liars in this administration. WTF?!

Here’s what really breaks my heart. People didn’t care as much about ICE terrorizing immigrants until citizens were caught up in their detainments. Once that was publicized the outcry grew. So tired of the implicit and explicit racism in our country. We need to all come together as one.

I have been extremely impressed with Senator Chris Murphy for months. He has been truthfully speaking out about Trump’s intentions, his actions and what they signal before most people would admit what was going on. He has earned my respect. He speaks to us, not at us.

I am repeatedly hearing it was only Democrats participating in the protests. Really? That wasn’t my experience. If Republicans actually believe it was only leftist Dems mobilizing, they’ll continue to bend the knee and any hope to stop this authoritarian takeover is gone.
