Caitlin Prowle is absolutely right about the importance not just of community in the abstract, but of community ownership of assets as a means of making it a concrete reality - and it’s been great seeing the @coopparty.party.coop successfully push this agenda nationally

The Pride in Place programme introduced by the government last week is a massive opportunity to rebuild our communities, invest in community assets & give power back to local people & community leaders. Investing in spaces for people to connect is absolutely vital.

We also have really interesting events & speaker lines ups on farming, community energy, green skills, AI, the clean power mission, home retrofit, the politics of deliverism and international climate leadership, as well as in-conversations with Ed Miliband & Emily Thornberry.

We also have a great session lined up with @transenvuk.bsky.social on how to ensure the UK's EV transition continues to go from strength-to-strength. Really pleased that we'll be joined by DfT minister Lilian Greenwood MP.

Delighted to have this stellar line up, with such a wealth of experience & expertise, for our event on why clean air should be at the heart of Labour's health mission & how this can be delivered. Looking forward to a great discussion!
