David Peel was a very strange choice to play a scary vampire. I guess they figured let's get someone as unlike Lee as we can find. Incidentally when it comes to vampire films as Dracula says, the blood is the life. A vampire film needs to have a lot of blood spilled. Sadly there is little in Hammer.

Stoned vampire? Which one was that? As for Vampire Lovers, what is there to say except Madeleine Smith is a flipping goddess. But sadly another vampire film where (SPOILER) the vampire is destroyed. Why didn't filmmakers understand we wanted them to win? Oh, a fanged Smith would have been excellent!

I had thought this was a good film but boy was I disappointed when I watched it a few months ago. I think if you are on some good drugs it's fun. Otherwise yawnsville. And what a stupid ending!

My God do these scumbags twist the first amendment to mean anything they want it to provided it makes these filthy corporations another dime. A lot of this comes from the concept that corporations are people which they most certainly are not. They have no first amendment rights.

I love him, especially his early films from the 80s. He made two great films in the 90s--Naked Lunch and Crash. After that no thanks.

You see the opposite happens to me. Ninety-nine percent of my dreams aren't weird at all. Just everyday stuff that could easily happen in my day to day life. It's gotten to where I don't know if something actually happened or if I dreamed it.

You know the country is run by madmen when they say no judge can tell the president what to do. The law is the law no matter who you are. The hideous bald cretin is basically saying "Who cares what the courts say?" The fact that anyone thinks that makes sense is horrifying.

We see in Mike Johnson the Republican House Leader for the 21st century. A milksop who will blindly defend anything the President does while at the same time claiming to be a devout Christian (who thank God watches no porn). Americans love a snappy dresser who's polite and has a southern accent.

Too disgusting for the likes of me. My favorite moment is when Wilford Brimley is confined and he assures his friends he's all right while behind him you see he has a noose tied to the ceiling.

Hard to believe some of our horror icons were ever young like this. Lugosi was 49 in Dracula, Karloff was 44 in Frankenstein, Peter Cushing was 45 in Horror of Dracula, and Vincent Price was 49 in House of Usher. Mind you both Price and Cushing's film careers began in the late 30s.

In the old days family members of a sexual predator spent loads of time making excuses for him or just lying outright about him. This hopefully is not done as much today as it used to be. Seeing all of MAGA scramble to make unconvincing defenses of Trump feels exactly like that.
