I’ve listened to Meltzer and Alvarez for decades now and the amount of fake hand wringing and pearl clutching they do over AEW is so over the top. These guys signed there because they have the freedom to do the matches they want, how about enjoy them and stop bitching that they are “doing too much”

There has not been a enough criticism of the fact that for John Cena’s last match WWE couldn’t come up with any kind of big emotional farewell, last fight story and just decided to hold a tournament where the winner gets to wrestle him as if he’s some kind of prize

Bryan Alvarez being confused why the AEW fans popped for Daddy Magic to face off with Garcia shows that he is completely out of touch with the AEW fan base. Just cause you don’t get it, doesn’t mean it isn’t working and the crowd doesn’t care

Rusev is a dork. He only lost twice in AEW and I was at one of them live. It was easily the most boring match Danielson had in AEW and here’s the stupidest part. I thought he should have gone over in that match to set up a heel challenger for Hangman.

Bryan and Vinny are clearly trying to re create their 2000s TNA reviews using AEW as the target but it comes off as desperate because they are willingly ignoring things, purposely not “getting” storylines and nit picking every tiny thing

AEW PPV week, queue the pearl clutching and hand wringing from the wrestling media. If Osprey couldn’t do the match, he wouldn’t and if Takeshita couldn’t wrestle, he wouldn’t. Part of this is storyline #AEW
