Try and be nice to people, avoid eating sugar, read a good book every now and then, get some walking in, and try and live in peace and harmony with people...
Maybe it's bollocks output from ChatGPT??

Shades of Seamus Milne...

There are about 25k schools in England. An Excel Pivot Table can handle ~1 million rows... And Excel now has some third-party "AI" add-ins!

Easy peasy!

AI - a bit like Tulip Mania?

Freedom? Or burning engine oil?

Why didn't Liz Truss wear her medals?? Surely she must have been awarded at least one for her service in the armed forces?

That was then, this is now:

Top tip when fitting (eg hemp)... Buy a special saw (eg Bahco product) for cutting insulation! Weird saw but they do a good job!

True but NT is so, so much more than the houses

NT motto is "For every one, for ever". . As such they ALSO focus on outdoor spaces, nature conservation, "Summer of Fun", acquiring coastlines...etc

And this is actually in alignment with their founders principles!

Restore Trust would deny all this.

The National Trust has over 5m members. It could be quite a powerful woke campaigning/influential organization..

I think Restore Trust are keen to neuter that capability.
November 9, 2025 at 9:54 AM
The Trust does have its problems (in the middle of a 5% redundancy programme). And it's very expensive to run (especially house restoration).

But their vision is spot-on... includes nature revival.

Well worth supporting!

Something not quite right with this story.

As far as I can see Spirit Airlines operate Airbus planes.

Maybe they were mixing them up with Spirit AeroSystems - they'd have Boeing fuselages for sale??

Interestingly it says that only just over 50% of members used the Quick Vote?

Maybe it was set to populate choices which could then be tweaked? If so it shows a certain amount of active engagement??

He's probably got a few on his swimming trunks too? Though to be honest you got these for personal survival rather than bravery.

It isn't true.

You'll instinctively know when it's Xmas..

And revision of course!
Like Clive of India? Though one has to admit the clipped yews at Powis Castle are rather splendid!

We (I guess I really mean influential politicians) should have been saying/shouting that two years ago!
November 7, 2025 at 2:40 PM
I think you're right about the 80 year old...

I have some newspapers recording the flight of Lizzie II back to the UK from Africa on the news of the death of her father in 1953... Details reported on all the colonial airports they refueled at, pilots name, flying speed. All very personal!

Though often you will go "OMG - THEY did THAT to THEM!"
