Either that or just re-focus on the Epstein Files, the release of which would force Trump from office.

Looks like the magistrate judge who signed the search warrant has pulled the plug on the FBI's 'bone saw'.

Judge orders stop to FBI search of devices seized from Washington Post reporter
Order says gov't must stop search while court reviews Washington Post motions.

Even though that's exactly what he said!

And maybe reporting on it will make it harder for him to, again, change his mind (what's left of it).
January 21, 2026 at 9:45 PM
Oh come on will. It's not like they cut her up with a bone saw.

OK, in a first amendment way, they kinda did.
January 21, 2026 at 9:41 PM
But they CAN'T help.

Unless letting Trump hold both houses in the upcomming mid-terms somehow 'helps'.

Anti-law-enforcement is a LOOOOOSER for the MAJORITY of voters in this country.

You may not like it (I sure don't) but it's true and it it informs Democratic positions.

But you do have 4X more followers on Bluesky than the Senator, so you are not exactly powerless.

True that.

Assholes were a lot tougher back in my day.

"Nixon let you in?" "Sorry pal, ya gotta go!"

Paramount Skydance Corp (CBS parent) market cap is about 12.7B USD. About 5% of Ellison's net worth?

ORACLE about 550B USD. Ellison owns 40% of it.

Doubt he even gives one fuck about CBS as a going concern.
January 18, 2026 at 9:44 PM
Ellison's net worth: 239.6 billion USD

He owns 40% of Oracle.

He could give two fucks about CBS as a going concern. His politics are driven by what is good for his ownership in Oracle and that means pleasing Trump, which CBS is now positioned to do.

Not that it matters.

They aren't doing it for the money, they're doing it because the politics they wish to support with the endeavor is good for their other businesses.

John Roberts doesn't want to be the Chief Justice of the first Court to be completely ignored by the WH and left with no option but to quietly slink away.

He must find a 'middle ground' or 'safe' ruling.

First on tariffs then on the Insurrection Act.
January 18, 2026 at 7:30 PM
The Secretary is WAY too young to understand why NATO exists.

NATO was formed to insure that, should there be a WW-III, it would be fought on European soil.

If we had given a fuck about the Europeans, we would not have allowed the Soviets to take ALL of Eastern Europe plus half of Germany.
January 18, 2026 at 3:46 PM
While Trump is calling up the US Armed Forces in preparation for the soon-to-be-announced Insurrection Act, the left is busy fighting among themselves.

In fairness, a design issue NOT related to fonts.
January 16, 2026 at 8:22 PM
If we had stayed the course on the Epstein files, Trump would have be out of office by summer.

Now he's having a ball, his numbers will be going up soon and those midterms are not looking all that bad.
January 16, 2026 at 12:05 AM
Yep.

And nobody cares about the Epstein files anymore and that means Trump's numbers will be going up soon and those mid-terms ain't looking so bad for the Republicans.

First amendment protections notwithstanding, the WP is not the target here, nor likely is their reporter. I've never read the 1st. Amendment as protecting sources engaged in alleged criminal activity.

The government has the right to investigate and seems to have found a judge who agrees.

RE: Strong statements.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

Is it the same party that supports killing them in the womb?

Just a question. Don't get upset.
January 14, 2026 at 3:46 AM
That's one of those 'rhetorical' questions, isn't it?
January 14, 2026 at 3:43 AM
Who better, tbh.
January 14, 2026 at 3:39 AM
Of course he can.

He's the richest man in the world. He's aligned with the political right in this country. The political right only cares about sexual depravity when they think it involves the Clintons, Bill Gates or other elitist lefties.

But not Trump.

Nor Musk.
