If the libs collapse, the centre right will reform as politics hates a vacuum. Dont be surprised if this restructured libs offers membership to the Teals.

The teals greatest asset is their local community link, which is also their biggest liability. They are NIMBYS and unable to deal with issues like housing. That requires a broadly based party.

Teals took out the heart of the Liberals breaking their broad church. The libs are now becoming Nationals Light which has no appeal in the Urban electorates they need. The right has collapsed several times in Australian history we may be seeing that happen again

Look at the demographics. PHON is mostly aging boomers. A good chunk of liberal boomers went over recently. Thats what the poll numbers show. I expect the libs would get them back on preferences at a election.

Hard to run long distance aircraft on electricity but you can run them on bio fuels.

How much gas does industry use? Can we get rid of that?

Level 4. I use it every day and have a paid subscription.
October 6, 2025 at 6:01 AM
Well, your going to have to put up with Barnaby Joyce, Matt Carnavan and Sky news commentators ranting about the evils of renewables for a couple of years yet. If electricity bills come down the objections will collapse.
October 5, 2025 at 8:33 AM
But electricity electricity are going up not down. It's no use going on about lower electricity cost when bills are going up. Your credibility is shot.

How Texas doing?
September 28, 2025 at 7:50 PM
That's fine , but Texas is also rapidly transitioning to renewables. Why dont you go and see Gov Abbott too? Think TX electric rates are cheaper too, might learn something.
September 28, 2025 at 8:36 AM
Thats all very well, but can you please fund 2-3 superchargers across the Nullarbor and some in central Australia so we can have a east to west and south to north transcontinental electric highway? Thanks
