Three centuries of meteorite cultures in Austria (or rather: what was referred to as "Austria" over the time): a souvenir gift, a witnessed fall, and a meteorwrong. Had a fantastic conversation about these and more with @ckloesch.bsky.social at @tmwpress.bsky.social for #PlotsOfUnEarthing 🪨💥🌏

Since the 1950s, OMV has run a gas plant there that financed the village. In 5 stations, the procession told stories from the past and the future of the village and the planet, a ritual to perform the petro-financed village as a planetary time capsule - digging, drilling, extracting & burying.
