I think its great the republicans keep hammering tge message that democrats are socialist and social democrats. People love these policies and ideas. And calling democrats commuinsts is not landing anymore since its an old tired trope.

Last I checked, USA was not a memeber of the ASEAN group. But Trump is in Kuala Lumpur for the summit regardless. I guess someone told him that burning all bridges was'nt such a great idea while US power is waining and others are growing...

So it turns out that I was super slow with my prediction. Elon Musk & Lara Loomer (& im sure several other prominent shitbags) have already said absolutley disgusting things about the left in relation the the murder of Charlie Kirk. These people are making it an inflamed situation worse on purpose

The shooting of Charlie Kirk is obviously despicable.
I would however like to draw attention those from the right that always say "lets not politicize this tragic shooting..." or " this right winger that shot the temple/school/whatever is actually a leftist/just a madman/ solitary incident etc"...

So Degrowth as an macro economic is very interesting and quite needed for the survival of our modern civilization. And from what i understand from scholars in this and relates feilds, we either adopt some form of degrowth or we face a rapid exponential negatice growth. Otherwise known as collapse.

It will be interesting to see if the death rattle that is left of US democracy can shake up enough Americans and politicians into action before it has gone fully into authoritarian despotism that can only be undone with a violent revolution.

Insurance companies have already stopped selling certain types of propety insurance in certain areas due to high risk of fire or flooding.
