You may have a point. I enjoy scifi but in my head I feel like I need to be more math-y about my designs or that they HAVE to make sense, but thats not true

I think of all filmmakers GDT is one for very niche taste, and if you go into his movies expecting anything else aside from pure self indulgence (as it should be!!) you're not gonna enjoy. Specially something so popular & classic like Frankenstein, there's another films that are probs more accurate

In mho is kinda senseless to expect any audiovisual adaptation to be completely absolutely faithful to the source material cause,,thats why the source material is there? It's like commissioning an artist because you like the artstyle and complaining it doesnt look like the ref sheet of your oc
