I don’t even want to put this out into the ether, but have you noticed more calmness in Calafiori’s defensive game? Last year, it felt like half of his injuries came from awkward or overly rash challenges, which he seems to have matured out of this year.

Kinda funny that Mainoo and Garnacho will probably be sold this summer when they are two players that really fit the age range you'd want for a rebuild. I for one will not be upset if United looks at this as a short term rebuild and just digs themselves into a deeper hole.

Hate it, but also love it when we are reminded how good of a shot stopper he is.

C’mon, Joe. Everyone knows the Canes are supposed to play along and continue feeding the NHL media frenzy to help improve the Trade Deadline buzz. What else is there to talk about?
March 7, 2025 at 12:15 AM
Well look who will be scoring on Sunday

Forgot to add. Is a 9 point buffer enough at this point. I acknowledge I’m being very reactionary but I’m also just waiting for the next injury to hit.

I don’t think 2nd vs 4th makes a difference in transfer market because that comes down more to the project at hand. Even with 5th getting UCL it still seems a worry about us being able to create and score goals with 3 fit attackers.
February 12, 2025 at 6:55 PM
I mean are there any concerns about not finishing in a UCL spot? That would be a massive blow to everything

Minutes clearly state 999 minutes over 12 months. That seems like a very small sample size to draw really real conclusions is all. Maybe I misunderstood your overall point with the post. New to your data and I think your graphic is very clean.

I gotta imaging the proposed wages are the reason why. There’s no way Levy offered anything near Tel’s reported current wages, especially when you look at what some the current players are getting paid.
January 31, 2025 at 6:23 PM
Regarding minutes played. What is considered an acceptable amount for it to not be considered a “small sample size”? He hasn’t played a lot of truly meaningful minutes.
January 31, 2025 at 5:41 PM
And it feels like the sample size might be a bit too small to really draw any conclusions. Yes, the talent is there but it also feels like this is an instance of using data to create hype more than anything.

And for a lot more money with a lot of question marks in defense. Also feels a little like Chelsea in attempting to hoard players that could one day be good.
January 30, 2025 at 5:45 PM
Ohhh he does seem like an interesting talent. To your point, that’s a lot to spend on very young talent and bringing them into a relatively toxic situation
January 30, 2025 at 5:31 PM
Tel and who is the second player?
January 30, 2025 at 5:26 PM
Part of it is that Arsenal don't allow many shots and when we do they are usually very low in xG.
January 27, 2025 at 6:06 PM
Very fair. I am a bit surprised that it's Leo instead of Martinelli, especially because he seems a better fit to take advantage of the space behind the high line. Curious if this is purely a fitness decision after the minutes he played on Sunday.
January 15, 2025 at 6:54 PM
Agreed. I know the noise around him as not been great but he felt like the only attacker trying to take a man on against United. Thought it was a better performance than many gave him credit for
January 15, 2025 at 6:48 PM
Getting a fresh timeout is just ridiculous
November 30, 2024 at 5:08 AM
Isn’t he suspended this weekend for yellow card accumulation?
November 28, 2024 at 5:42 PM
I caught myself laughing multiple times in the first at how good he was
November 27, 2024 at 4:44 AM
I’m sitting here laughing watching his first half performance
