Great derby win! Scoring still way too difficult but today was the first day I recall seeing Gasperini’s pressing work. Happy for Lorenzo as well #Roma

Still very early days, etc., but it does seem odd that we’re averaging less than a goal a game so far.

“Take more shots” seems too basic of advice but that is what is needed right now #Roma

Trump claimed to be Man of the Year for the state of Michigan for like a decade. If he had been an informant he would never shut up about it
in which Mike Johnson claims that Donald Trump was an FBI informant to take down Epstein

10 minutes in and it’s pretty clear that Ferguson is a better striker than Dovbyk. I don’t recall Dovbyk ever creating space for his own shot like that

It’s a Roma game day!!!! I’m trying to temper my optimism as there are a lot of new players and new tactics to install. My hope is that the form Ranieri instilled in this team will be sufficient to carry us through the transitional period

Can someone explain to me the logic of going 6v5 in hockey? It never seems to work and if anything the team leading usually scores and kills off the game even earlier than they would have otherwise. Is there statistics or analytics to support it?

Man, so nervous about today. Hoping the Roma triangle of disappointment stays away for the rest of the year

5 matches left, 6 points to go. Lazio ended up being a draw but I was right about Juve. It’s either going to be a Torino win with draws against Fio/Atalanta/Milan or a Fio win and losses against Atalanta/Milan. Outside chance of an Inter draw since the game is sandwiched between Milan and Barca
8 games to go, 11 points needed to fulfill our destiny. Roma should beat Verona and Torino on match day 38. That means 5 points from matches against Juve, Lazio, Inter, Fiorentina, Milan, and Atalanta. I’ll say draws against Fiorentina and Juve and a win against Lazio.
Just remember, Roma fans: we’re getting to 63 points by the end of the year. Death, taxes, Roma ending the season with 63 points- three inevitabilities in life. Don’t worry about position in the table, we’re going to end up wherever 63 points takes us

Here’s how I see tariffs playing out long-term: USA imposes tariff on Country A. Country A reciprocates. Negotiations occur. Country A and USA remove tariffs, plus Country A offers some nebulous promise (dismantle DEI, crackdown on fentanyl). Trump declares victory, economy suffers in meantime

I don’t live in FL-6 but I live in the Central Florida TV market. The fundraising stories are overblown. I’ve seen more Randy Fine ads than Josh Weil ads. Most appear to be funded by the Save America PAC. No clue if the polling is inaccurate or not but funding isn’t a big factor here

Happy for Dean, he seemed like a good kid. Juve really dropped the ball on him.

Can’t tell whether EDF has gotten this Venezia side to pass and move really well or if this is just another example of Roma playing down to their opponents when playing away

Look, I’m glad we took a point off Napoli, but I don’t like the celebrations like it’s a win. There’s enough talent on this team to beat anyone and until they get into that mindset again we’re going to continue finishing 6th or worse in the table

So, on the one hand, the college football playoffs were a lot of fun. On the other hand, Ohio State won it all. Feels like we need to go back to a polls-based champion @rodger.bsky.social
