Why this image is special to me: timing (day after heavy snowfall so that the trees still had snow in them), S-curve of the river, and to top it off (literally and figuratively) the lenticular cloud on Mt Rainier. Hope it brings some joy.

Why I love this image: I generally don’t do B&W but on this particular scene it works for me. Leading lines doing their job here 😀.

This one from summer required an early start (1.30am) to get to the location an hour before sunrise. It’s typically a sunset location and usually photographed with a full reflection. I went for partial reflection and used flowers as foreground. Enjoy!

Hello my first post on Bluesky. This picture is of a red sky a few months ago. Just a 39 minute drive by the road. All about cloud cover forecast and no wind. Hope it brings some joy.
