I didn’t believe this would work but I grabbed one of these flags before crossing the street and it actually makes a difference in getting cars to stop for you!

There is a SFBA Bench Collective bench at the bus stop near my house. It is constantly being used during the day, but sometimes gets tagged.

Got a 10-foot fruit picker, which has been a game changer this year. At the tail end of our quince harvest, and then we will make enough quince jelly to last until next season + enough to give as gifts.

One thing I remembered while watching Groove last night is that we threw _many_ parties where we charged a $2 cover. This was enough to give gas money to out-of-town DJs, pay for decorations, snacks, and fog juice, and give some money to the sound guy and light crew. The nod was a real thing too :)
