Absolutely! Momentum is everything. I’m writing up a few scientific papers that had got pushed to the back burner and it’s so much easier to progress when in flow.

Wow, I’m intrigued! If it gets cut out, is there any possibility that you could share your insights via a standalone essay/blog?

Can’t imagine how daft someone must be to think that this is a logical hot-take worth sharing with the world.

Looks like I’m yet to master reposting on bluesky - meant to post the first in the thread.

Cool science shedding light on the evolution of complex biological cycles in multicellular organisms. Envious of the authors - must have been scintillating when they discovered this.

Of course, saRNA Vx could completely overcome this by mimicking antigen dynamics during infection. No doubt that the future is full of promise.

As long as subtype stitch is a controllable handle, yes, could be valuable. If it is a platform effect, I think there could be concerns - lower effector function and half-life, potential immune tolerization

Indeed, durability could be a concern from looking at superimposed RSV antibody trajectories of mRNA vaccines vs protein. Also VLP (novavax) vs mRNA although valency is a confounder with VLP. I think we need a systematic large animal or human study comparing various delivery modalities.
