If you could go back & rotate for the Chelsea game, to have a fresher XI vs Forest, would you do it? I feel like we probably win vs Forest without the midweek game, but also probably don't beat Chelsea. But arguably we got the optimal outcome, gaining ground in both comps? @gunnerblog #arsecastextra

I can't remember a season where the mismatch between my emotions and what the numbers say has been so great. Also have to ask, wasn't Emery's Villa doing what they did the most Emery thing ever?

Just watched the finale yesterday and the whole thing / season was INCREDIBLE - who or where are these people who hate it, that's mad!

I consider that great value tbh, although I think they should throw the balls in for free (maybe if you buy on Black Friday they get bundled?)

I just read that Hector Bellerin is still only 30 years old and I can't quite comprehend how that is possible. Since he emerged, I'm certain that I've journeyed from young to middle aged. What is going on & how has he achieved this miracle of time subversion? @gunnerblog.bsky.social #arsecastextra

That was a great episode with a truly epic finale. Just to match the closing theme, I thought you might both be interested in this story today straight from Australia's capital: www.abc.net.au/news/2025-10... @gunnerblog.bsky.social

Agree! If any of those early Arsenal chances went in, it had the potential to be one of the most enjoyable games of the season so far. As it turned out, it was (for me) horrible up until the 2nd Arsenal goal. I think the injustice was a huge part of that

True but the fact that Liverpool almost escaped from that game with a draw also seems far fetched. The number of last minute winners they've had this season is also bonkers. I guess sometimes an aura needs to be broken before statistical normalcy can prevail. I hope Palace have done that

100%. Also if it is disproportionately benefitting better-off households it's quite literally testament to the informal and formal barriers in place to getting a proper diagnosis (generally over a year to see a ped. following other consultations). It is a sign that poorer kids are being let down.

Being in a terrible time zone I have to watch the game 'as live' hours after it ends. But I've really missed the ritual of seeing out a nervous win with a coffee, switching on my phone and then reading your panicked posts on Blue Sky! Possibly justified this time though. Great to have football back.

For what it's worth, if they're looking for an alternative, I just googled it and found that JVC still exists...

I do strongly support this, but also question why no-one seems to care as much about the sponsorship of Arsenal by the Government of Dubai - an Emirate that has been heavily and very credibly linked to state sponsored modern day slavery. I mean... even the name of our stadium!
