What was your favorite part of Star Ocean 3? I remember the Proclaimers always stuck with me, the sudden tone shift they brought which Star Ocean is famous for.

I always liked Star Ocean Second Story more, it clicked with me. That said, I enjoyed this one a ton and thought much of its treatment was unfair. It had powerful moments and beautiful characters.

I can agree with this. FFT has a special place in my heart, especially for the story. However, many games came after that learned what it did well and what it did poorly.

From a marketing perspective, a lot of people avoid animated films because they think they're childish even when that simply isn't true. So live gives more chance of a bigger paycheck at the end. In my opinion it gives a higher chance of flopping but it seems the strategy works.

Suikoden. I've been gaming forever but the story of Suikoden was touching. The second one improved on it all in many ways but I connected with the sense of loss and moving forward it portrayed, and the respect it gave its characters was incredible.
