Also I love all the little weird sounds enemies make during battles. I think more funky creatures should make funky noises.

I do appreciate that 2 built off of what the first game established for its UI, but the redesign and refinements of 3's UI are extremely welcome after just how much I had to fight the previous two games' menus. Not to mention how prone 2's UI is to lagging at the worst times.

Aside from 2 & 3, I do have a massive soft spot for Mother 1 in spite of how unbalanced of a game it can be. The kind of random things that can happen to you in that game should be studied.
