I 3D modeled and printed the Steel Sword from Skyrim! Now it's ready for some sanding and paint. It has a steel rod as a core for stability. I'm very happy w the length. It's printed in ABS with 4 walls for strength. I used ABS slurry to glue everything and fill gaps. #skyrim #cosplay #3dprinting

#Cosplay tip of the day: Make a multi-purpose harness like this and add buckles to all your torso armor so you can interchangeably attach your breastplates, backplates, and even shoulder armor.

Here's a real hot take: I think resin printing should be banned, require labels, or require a license or training. Coming from someone w 2 resin printers & 13k followers on TT from making 3D printing content. Im very passionate about 3D printing, but people are incredibly irresponsible with resin.

My eternal work in progress is Femshep from Mass Effect. I started working on the Hahne-Kedar armor over a year ago with nearly 300 hours in it so far just 3D modeling, fitting, and printing it. I am currently working on putting real carbon fiber on it.

Some WIPs of how I made my Liara cosplay! The breastplate, gauntlets, & leg armor are all EVA foam, but I 3D modeled & printed the biceps, shoe armor, & various buckles. The carbon fiber pattern was airbrushed on with leather paint & a stencil.
