That’s why I periodically go back and edit old stuff on AO3. Like the foundation is probs fine, but there’s always new and better ways to phrase things, proofreading I could do, and more details I could add

I think sketching as a form of practice is easier (and neater) on digital, but getting foundations down on paper is important too

That said, I'm still intermediate imo because I don't always go out of my way to practice new techniques and rarely ever do any big pieces
