I lost fairly early, and didn't even realize it had happened until way later.

I have this weird thing where if I run into even a very good friend out in public, there's a chance I will be too unsure if the person I am seeing is someone I know to interact with and not avoid them. Most of my friends know they need to remind me to get my facial recognition to kick in.
