P.S. If I had read this story back in my school years, I think I would have truly fallen in love with it.

It’s a quick read, but it really stays with you. It made me smile, and even tear up a little. I’d totally recommend it to anyone who enjoys stories about being true to yourself and the people who support you.

I really loved how the book handled identity, friendship, and acceptance in such a gentle and beautiful way. The artwork is gorgeous — expressive, colorful, and full of emotion. It adds so much to the story without needing a ton of words.

It really made me think, but it also kept me hooked with its pace and characters.

If you like mythology or strong female leads, I definitely recommend it.

I liked how she mixed well-known mythological events with more personal, emotional moments. It made everything feel fresh.
Circe also touches on a lot of deep stuff — like power, identity, and what it means to find your place in the world.

Watching her grow stronger and more independent over time was one of the most satisfying parts of the story.
Madeline Miller’s writing is beautiful without being too complicated — poetic, but still easy to read.

— and she’s so much more than just a witch who turns men into pigs.
The book follows her from childhood to exile and beyond, and what I liked most was how human she feels. She’s lonely, angry, curious, and constantly learning.
