Look what I made! Salmon on spaghetti squash with a brown sugar & 5 spice mix on the squash. Slathered Dijon mustard & mix on the salmon. For someone who doesn't cook I'm quite pleased. Tasted yum! In my new Le Creuset dish (it was on sale).

Struggling here. Great niece is having her 1st birthday Sat. The 5 kids just (yesterday) got over the flu. Mom isn't the best housekeeper, on a good day. Do I go knowing I could bring disease home to vulnerable hubs? Want to be involved, but not at the risk of serious illness.

Went to the Seattle Flower & Garden show today. It smelled SO good. My soul was fed. Picked these little beauties up for some yard fun. Hope I don't mess with bees & birds!

So hubs oncologist appointment & immunotherapy infusion were canceled because his kidneys are not working properly. This is a first. He's had some meds changed up trying to get his kidney proteins & BP down so it may be a fallout from that. We'll try again next week. Feels like whack-a-mole.

I can't adequately convey the sadness & sorrow I feel over losing our precious relationship with Canada & Canadians because of a demented old man. I don't blame them one bit for their animosity toward us. It just saddens me to lose such good friends.

How did my once kind hearted hubs turn into a petulant, heartless, curmudgeon? I get health issues make one less pleasant, but he's not the same at all.
