Finally the last segment of the song, yay! Going back to the start of the song with this one. I mentioned how Blitz was starting to make an impact on Stolas’s confidence and him standing up for himself.. but it’s still a very long process we have throughout the season.

Now onto the angst. (Yayyy-) Since this part takes place after Ozzie’s, it’s him starting to realize that maybe this isn’t the romcom or Hell-a-Novela I thought it was and he starts to realize that maybe he should say something regarding the arrangement they have

Then, once Blitz came back into the picture after the Not So Divorced party, that was his stepping stone on “maybe this is time to finally have my own choice” and not just forced to live upon Hell’s expectations for him.

In similarity to the sweetness of freedom in the previous part, he can’t change because he’d be lost and just.. tired of trying to change his “act” on stage, kind of like how we see in Mastermind during the song & after the banishment.

With these lines, it’s given us a view on how Stolas views his stand as an Ars Goetia. He’s trapped and forced. He feels like (from what we hv in When I See Him) “his entire life’s been written in stone” & how he can’t control anything from what he thought he's supposed to be

🧵 You know.. I thought about it. In my opinion, Stolas Sings is probably one of the best lyrically written songs for Stolas and it helps SO much with his character, especially since Mastermind's came out (repost from X)
