Homestuck being in the zeitgeist again is so funny. It was only a matter of time. And I love the kiddos being like “omg I’ve been a homestuck since 2019 this is genuinely devastating” meanwhile I was there when the ancient tombs were written, here’s fanart I drew in 2011

We’re putting our decorations away today, so I turned the tree on one last time this year and took some time to reflect on how I spent my holidays this year. It was truly a magical one. Quiet moments of comfort with dear friends and family. I love Christmas and New Years so much.

If I could get a message like this every day, I would never doubt myself ever again and instead become insufferably sure of myself. (But really - this warms my heart in such a way. Directing is a joy. It is like creating a picture with the oil paints of humanity. Pushing, pulling, layering)

We're finally getting rain this week in NJ after not having any measurable rain since...September. Which is good because I've slowly been watching the drought monitor get redder and redder and the air get hazier and hazier from wildfires and I uh, would like to not have to stock up on drinking water

Oh me? How am I coping? Thanks for asking, I'm doing a replay in Fallout with the Nick Valentine romance mod installed with a character called Handsome Dick (I'm basically Just Ken) and I built a gym on my sanctuary to watch Nick work out in.

Got a freaking beautiful solid wood bookcase for $100 on FB marketplace…Have a new game chest coming. It’s really starting to take shape over the whole room! Can’t wait to get the furniture sorted so I can start working on the little details.

Reading corner has been upgraded! We’ll eventually get a new accent chair for that corner that matches the color scheme better - but it’s looking great! Next we’ll replace that old ass beige shelf.
