Samhain Blessings. Tonight there is an opening between the worlds of the living and the dead. It’s time to remember our ancestors and put photographs on the altar. I carry out a simple ritual every year and often adapt the ritual by Barbara Ardinger. 🙏

It was so lovely to spend time in my spiritual home, Malvern and revisit Priory Park recently. On my return, I finished working on an operatic musical script for ‘The Legend of the Werewolf’ which will be performed in San Francisco Bay later this year and then on tour. Back to poetry. Peace. ❤️

What a wonderful time we had performing poetry and harp music at the church in the woods on Bramdean common on Saturday. It’s also known as the Gypsy Church. It was absolutely packed with some people sitting outside on the grass, thankfully they were able to hear the music and poetry. 🎶🙏♥️

Thanks to @rainegeoghegan.bsky.social, I wrote about my experience in this beautiful book KIN by @salmonpoetry.bsky.social Things I recognise as part of that purlieu, that diaspora; whispered winds of words themselves, too often packed away. And at the weekend, new revelations, goosebumps .. 3/7
