Big fan of the heavy hitters: Kubrick for the vision, Nietzsche for the edge, Chomsky for the insight, Kerouac for the ride, and Sartre for the meaning of it all. Always thinking, always questioning—always go for the pecan pie à la mode.

A masterclass in pandering to anti-elitist sentiment. Bannon understands that the MAGA base distrusts wealth that comes from innovation more than inheritance. Trump’s loyalty, of course, is transactional. He’ll embrace Vivek and Musk until their value diminishes or the base demands a sacrifice.
CNN shows Bannon referring to Musk & Vivek as “big tech oligarchs” and “geeks” who were “stuffed in lockers”

Bannon is more in touch with Trump’s MAGA base than Elon. Will Trump side with them? Or abandon them for his new rich tech buddies?

How can parents teach virtue and accountability when presidents openly contradict these values? Electing a felon or selectively pardoning undermines justice, showing morality is malleable and subordinate to power. Without true equality in law, teaching morality becomes a farce—only breeding cynicism

The system’s rigged to keep you hustling for scraps while the rich get richer. It’s not an oversight; it’s by design. And you’re stuck in the game, paying for the privilege of being broke.

We’re so fucked up ideologically that if we had to fight a war tomorrow, there wouldn’t be any unified American identity to rally behind. We can’t confront an enemy directly because there’s no solidarity or accountability—it’s every many for himself to make a buck

Absolutely disgusting. Between all the pardons (on both sides), the election of a felon convicted on 34 counts, and the endless gaslighting, we’ve become a country with zero principles. It’s every man for himself, chasing a buck just to get by.

I remember the NRA argument that you’re more likely to die in a car accident than from a gunshot. But the data has changed. In 2021, firearms overtook car accidents as the leading cause of death for children and teenagers in the U.S.—according to the CDC

Watching Jon Stewart tear into Tucker Carlson on CNN’s Crossfire is a timeless classic, much like the lobotomized look on Carlson’s face.

Expecting some flack, but the focus on pardoning Hunter misses the issue. ALL of these pardons undermine the integrity of our justice system, reinforcing a culture of impunity. It’s not surprising, given that the country elected a felon, perpetuating a system where power trumps accountability.

How can Americans buy domestic goods if tariffs are imposed on imports but the U.S. lacks industries to provide those goods? They keep calling for domestic purchases without a clear plan to bring these jobs back—why impose a penalty when you aren’t even set up to offer the alternative?

The irony would be comical if it weren’t so painfully on-brand: a convicted fraudster and pardoned criminal offering lessons in virtue to the very system that bailed him out. #Dinesh“PardonMe”D’Souza
The lack of self-awareness is almost impressive.

What’s troubling is Musk’s insistence on treating the reproductive choices of others as his personal responsibility. His repeated references to “repopulating the Earth” through his own prolific breeding are not only obnoxious but deeply concerning.

This is premeditated murder. Cops aim for the center of mass—that’s protocol. But this guy? He says he’s aiming for her face. That’s a choice, not a mistake. Premeditation takes seconds, not hours, and there was no threat to justify it. This isn’t one bad apple; it’s the whole damn tree.

Alright, here it is: Elon Musk rebrands Twitter as X—X—like it’s supposed to be this sleek, futuristic thing. But now, it’s turning into that wild ex who you still think about sometimes. The one who’s unpredictable, throws dishes, and leaves you questioning your life choices.

Oh, great, SpaceX and Amazon—two billion-dollar companies whining that workers organizing is unconstitutional. What’s next, petitioning to make fairness illegal? They love making money off hard work but can’t stomach the idea of people standing up for themselves. Real classy, guys. Real classy.

Having escaped the dystopian morass of X, I now find myself navigating the comparatively uncharted waters of BlueSky. The interface, while mercifully less chaotic, presents its own puzzles. Suggestions for locating worthwhile interlocutors would be most welcome.
