We’re not there yet. These headline grabbing figures being thrown around are all part of the negotiations. The deal will be nearer to what we’d all think of as acceptable/sensible. Undoubtedly with a tilt towards what Trump thinks is a win.

It is the ‘Art of the Deal’. Impose pressure (bully) the other party into agreeing to your deal. However maximum pressure is relieved at the last moment in order that they then see the deal as reasonable & sign.Hence 50% tariffs threatened then reduced. Intelligence/Weapons 4 Ukraine stopped/started
