Its the storyboard for my choose your own adventure game:
Roughly 20 Endings, with a secret Canon ending ! This is a micro game, but the lore will be prevalent in my dream game someday.

Its a day late but I wanna talk about one of my goals this week:
Video Editing / Upload Scheduling !
Im really proud of how consistently im tracking my progress with vods.

Im slowly learning how to edit, and I hope I can make cleaner cuts, understand how to make better content, and keep going !

This week was another level up in coding !
I learned how to utilize (Instance_create_layer) to generate multiple paths in our game !

Find the right paths, and you might learn how to undo the dangers that threaten Twilight Coast.

Can everyone be saved, or are we doomed to repeat our mistakes?

This week in reflection: BIG Art Overhaul, but we're finalized, and locking in on the last bit of code I need for some parent and children objects!

Now that the story is dumbed down from our previous Alpha, this game should snap together sooner vs later !

We started making cute little Icon art for each ending in our upcoming choose your own adventure game !
Theres like 25 of them, so ill post them in next weeks post once they're all finalized.

We learned how setup a custom cursor, and discovered how parent objects can be used for good... but they can be used for evil against you LOL.

Tldr, our old tileset had duplicate tiles for 45 total tiles, and with this new tenative set, with no objects, we are sitting around 15-16?

WE FINALIZED OUR RANGED WEAPONS <3
After a lot of trial and error, we have all the projectiles for our game, as well as Inventory frames (Im still working on those) for all 63 Ranged Weapon Types !

Dev Log #10: ART PROGRESS!!!
Conceptually we Designed 45 Cross Classes, 276 Unique Skills + Skill Variations, 9 Base Classes, 54 rings, working on 27 amulets, armor sets to follow:

BUT NOW WE HAVE BUFF AND DEBUFF ICONS FOR THE GAMEEEEE.

Im supposed to have 11, but a couple went missing from the Twitter -> Bluesky Shuffle.

We streamed development on Twitch! We created new Status Effect Icons, and it was a delightful pain in the ass. Still figuring out a good size for UI but its all in good fun <3

Its been fun watching my little game grow slowly over time. I got 9 regions, each with its own suit of armor, its own lore, classes to unlock, armor to craft, weapons to loot.

I want to make a big multiplayer game with lots of cross color abilities, armor, bosses with end game raids. Thats too much for a first game! So we're building a tile set for our prequel to our dream game!
