I’m all for prioritizing rehabilitation over punishment. It’s not as simple as “there are bad people that need to be punished.” People are more complex than that.

All kinds of Christmas candy and a few small fun toys or puzzles.

I dont know if yours does, but some companies have policies or at least stated values that say they value diversity and inclusion. You can point to that and say it would be more inclusive to cater food from places that everyone can partake in.

The reality TV chaos party is in charge. They don’t care about (or refuse to believe in) consequences, they just want to be entertained.

Perhaps (I hope) when it gets bad enough we’ll hit rock bottom and vow as a country to never go down this path again.
