Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing
and rightdoing,
where all of the colors blend together,
there is a field.
I'll meet you there.

I learned recently that the word forlorn comes from the German verloren, which means lost. I'm glad you are finding some contentment in the feeling. People who numb themselves to a range of sad emotions also can't experience a range of happy emotions, it's good to feel all your feelings.

I'm sure this has nothing to do with me, but you will be so proud of me that I finally put some stuff in my profile. 🤣🤪

A friend once told me she could trace every kink she had back to a specific traumatic incident in her childhood.

I really like that word you coined! Though it also makes me wonder what you would get if you crossed The Godfather and The Thing. 🤔

Did you hear the one about the un-stamped letter? You wouldn’t get it.

If I were to tell you a joke about the subjunctive, do you think you would laugh? 🤔 🤪

I guess we know who wears the pants in your family. 🤪

I imagine it's pretty entertaining to watch him wiggle himself into that position.

I've got a hilarious joke about the future, the present, and the past, but I'm too tense to tell it.

That article explains why people have outies, plus it taught me this awesome word that means fear of belly buttons: omphalophobia!
May 3, 2024 at 2:28 AM
From what I remember, first they cut the cord with scissors a few inches away from the baby's body. I think they clamp it and then it hardens into a sort of a dry scab and they remove the clamp. Whether you have an innie or an outie depends on how your body naturally heals and releases the stump.

Kudos on the great belly button, but surgeons don't actually tie them off. They cut the cord and put a clamp on it and then after a while it falls off at the root. So it's just your nature!
