I'm eternally grateful that this is where I get to spend my days at the moment. The peace and solace in these #WildWestVirginia mountains is palpable, and they're keeping me from completely losing my shit.

To be strong enough to raise a strong (both physically/mentally) trans daughter is something I hope to never take for granted. She volunteered to help and got 1 of those double bales nearly 100 yards uphill and another over half that. She said "goddamn mom, how are you carrying that with one arm?"

I never would've imagined life could be this peaceful, but here I am. I love this thing I do.
